history: It was never easy for Salvador as a child. As long as he had remembered, he never truly had family. He was an orphan living in a foster home run by the church in Madrid, Spain. He however, did not come from Spain, but another provenance known as La Mancha. The town he came from was attacked by beasts rumored to look like tan wolves (though no one was left alive to confirm this). Only Salvador's mother escaped the siege, but because of her serious wound, she died before she could get help. Salvador was found by a missionary returning home to Madrid. There he learned the ways of god, though was never interested. The nuns would often punish him whenever he spoke out of turn, since they strickly believed that children should speak only when spoken to. It was this reason he grew silent, and grew to hate the nuns that looked over him and the other children.
When he became of age, he left and traveled to England, and there he learned the ways of knighthood and sword fighting. By the time his master had taught him everything he could, word was spreading of this organization called the dark eye and their hunt for the swords of myth. He would make his way back to Madrid, not thinking too much of the dark eye, but should he ever be at "the wrong place at the wrong time", he decided he would help any way he could.
