The rules to the board are kept clean and simple. We try to make it so that its impossible to misunderstand, but if that is still the case, then please use FAQ board for any questions.
Rule 1: No god moding
While we allow a lot of freedom here when creating characters and and such, we still expect to see a level of realism and restraint.
Rule 2: Racist and Sexist remarks
This will not be tolerated at all. if anyone is discriminated against for any reason what so ever, it is encouraged you report the offender ASAP with a quote of what the offender said. This will lead to an instant ban
Rule 3: Cursing
Cursing is fine here as long as its done once in a while. If every word from your mouth is a curse however, then you are breaking rule 3.
Rule 4: In game relationships
Love affairs are fine and sometimes encouraged for plot, but romantic scenes between the lovers much be kept at a PG or T rating. Sexual activity can be implied discreetly and players can have their character become pregnant should they wish. role playing the actual act or anything that surpasses the desired rating will cause an instant ban, much like rule 2. We can not stress enough that we want everyone to feel safe and welcome here.
Rule 5: Violence
Same as above, just with violence. While description is encouraged in role play, once again, keep this discreet and at a PG rating.
Rule 6: Trolling
Everyone is entitled to share their opinion on the boards (as long as it follows all the rules) and no one has the right to shut them down. Respect your peers and if you disagree, do it calmly and with respect. If you feel someone is trolling or generally harassing you, its advised you report it.
Rule 7: Multiple characters
A single person can have as many characters as they like. Thing is they need to be able to manage them all. If a staff member notices they are having a difficult time managing all their characters, they will be asked to get rid of a few just to keep things cleaner.
Rule 8: Disagreeing with staff members
We staff members are people too, and we may make some mistakes from time to time. It's alright to tell a staff member they messed up here or there, but do it kindly. The moment you start offending a staff member is the moment you break rule 8. Do not hassle anyone on the staff.
Rule 9: Posting quality
It doesn't matter if you just post 3 words every post in the general boards, but while role playing its expected that you try your hardest. We not a competitive role play and we want everyone to be able to relax and have fun, but there is a bar you need to at least be on, if not pass. Anything lower then 100 character (not words, character) posts are not acceptable. If you use your imagination and creativity, you will find thats a lot easier then it sounds and I everyone will have a good time then.
First time offenders for most rules are only given warnings, but after that, penalties will be given. The penalty will depend on the number of offenses the offender has had during his time here, as well as how serious the offense was. There is a difference between speeding 5 miles over the limit and speeding 30 over, you realize.
